Revisions allow you to make the page in question revert to an older state. Every time you update your page, a revision is automatically created. It can help if mistakes are published on the website.
- Click on the page in question in the page tree. Then when editing the page, click the “Revisions” tab.
- Find the revision you wish to view.
To aid you, revisions are sorted by date and display the username of the user that created the revision. - Load the desired revision.
When you click to load a revision, the page will be displayed in edit mode with the content from the selected revision. However, the original version of the page will still be visible to users who are viewing it. This allows you to explore and make changes to the revision without affecting the live version of the page. It's a useful feature for reviewing and comparing different versions of your content before deciding which one to publish.
- Update the page.
If you wish to replace your live page with the revision you are viewing, click the “Update Live” button.
