Building a form requires you to use different content blocks to piece together what you would like on your form.
First, click on the new button at the top and you will be presented with a new blank form builder page.
On the right-hand side, you can see the Toolbox which contains all the different parts of the form you would like to use.
Button: This allows you to place a button. It can be used to Submit a form, reset a form or finally save it so the user can continue later.
Text Box: This allows you to add a text box field where the user would manually add their answer to the form. You can apply labels and the default text to better help the user what they need to add to the form. There is also the option of validation to make it so users have to put a specific type of information into the form. Examples could be a Date of birth or a Postcode.
Multiline Text Box: Works the same as a normal text box but is larger to accommodate more text from the user.
Check Box: A simple check box.
Check Box list: A list of checkboxes. You can add multiple options to this one for multiple check-box criteria.
.
Radio List: Allows a list of radio checks. Like check box lists but generate a circular option rather than a box.
Drop-Down List: Allows a multiple-option response with multiple premade answers.
Date: Allows the user to input a date selection. For example, their birth date.
Content Area: Allows you to input a range of content, including text, images, tables, and links.
File Upload: Allows the user to upload a file when submitting the form. This could be a certificate they are required to show to you to become a member.
reCaptcha: This allows you to put a reCaptcha button in the form to prove they are not a bot.
When you have filled your content in, press Save Draft to save your progress and come back to the form later.
Once you’re ready, hit Publish to make the form live on the site.
