Select the “new” tab if the news module already exists.

Categories: This allows you to place your story into one or more categories to show in
   different areas of your website.
The category field may be blank if you simply have one news page containing all your stories.

By default, the first so many characters are chosen.

Add some media (optional)

Select the media tab and insert an image. This image will likely be displayed in the list of news
stories as the thumbnail for this particular story. It may also display in the story itself. You may,

Publish your story

When happy with your content you may publish the story via the publish button:

Tip: It is also possible to save your story as a draft to complete later or preview the story if you wish to see how it would look on your website.
